She was predeceased by: her parents, Cicero Carter and Thelma Carter. She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Van Dalsen (Maarten), Coleen Harkins (Larry Connell) and Brandi Prewitt (Daniel Morgan); her grandchildren, Jack Van Dalsen and Camyrn Harkins; her brothers, Cortley Carter (Dorothy), George Carter (Mildred) and Robert Carter (Maria); and her former husband Herbert Prewitt.
