She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Nesbitt and Mary Nesbitt; her husband Arno Kester; her daughter Kathy Vicars; and her siblings, Edwin, Leroy, Joseph, Robert Nesbitt and Elsie Denney.
She is survived by: her daughter Patti Jo Cook (Robert); her grandchildren, Joshua Rebman (Jamie), Jeremy Rebman Sr. (Terri), Amanda Hovis (Chris), Sara Cook, Cecil Vicars III and Katelyn Cook; and her great grandchildren, Natalie, Briana, Jocelyn, Cyrus, Jacob, Jeremy Jr. and Elaina.
