He was predeceased by: his parents, John McCartan and Marie McCartan; and his sister Mary Tyler. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Stuart McCartan; his children, Christopher McCartan (Michelle McCartan), Brittany McCartan Williams (Dana Williams), Hannah McCartan (James Kelly) and Jena McCartan (Richard Dawson); his grandchildren, Brodie, Sally, Richie and Remy; his sister Janet McCartan; his mother-in-law Betty Stuart; and also, Kathleen Maugeri and Theresa Arsenault.
