She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Postell and Grace Postell; and her brothers, Ray and Jerry Postell of Andrews, NC.. She is survived by: her husband Lawson Trantham; her children, Boyd Trantham and Brenda Johnson (Doug) of Rising Sun, MD; her grandchildren, Jaclyn Phillips (Josh) of Honea Path, SC, Alyssa Buskirk (Steve) of Tucson, AZ, Kimmy Garrant (Brad) of Lincoln University, PA, Emily MacKereth (James) of Hanover, PA and Nicole Omar of Kingston, PA; her great grandchildren, Gracen, Nora, Sadie, Abraham, Hope and Arlo; and her siblings, Helen West, Lonnie of Andrews, NC. and Otis Postell of Andrews, NC..
