We are sad to announce that on February 10, 2025, at the age of 80, Helen Catherine Crampton (Rising Sun, Maryland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Helen Catherine leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Griffith and Beulah Griffith; her husband Merle Crampton, Sr.; and her children, Catherine Lewis and Merle Crampton, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Brooks (Roy Brooks III); her grandson Roy Brooks IV (Charlotte Brooks); and her siblings, Roger Griffith, Betty Dagenhart and Pauline Zepp. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (6020 Ritchie Hwy, Baltimore, MD 21225).
