He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Baker (Helen) and Rita Baker Laws (Crist); his siblings, Rita Jean Harris (Laws) and James Laws; and his granddaughter Dawn Riley (Robitaille).

He is survived by: his wife Toni; and his children, Harry Vernon Baker, Jr., Clarence "Pat" Patterson III (Crystal), Donna Peters (Jeff), Debbie Robitaille (George), Karen Mason (Eric) and Annette L. Patterson Prueitt.
