It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cherie Owens (Rising Sun, Maryland), born in Atchison, Kansas, who passed away on February 13, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Juanita Markham (Potter) and Earl Baughman; and her sister Kay Pullum (Baughman). She is survived by: her husband Harold Owens (Hal); her children, Paul, Rachel Elisabeth and Luke; her grandchildren, Katherine Maria, Matthew, Austin, Nick, Ethan and Eleni; her great grandchildren, Addison, Delaney and Elodie; and her sister Jeanne.
A celebration of Cherie's life will be held privately and at the convenience of the family due to Covid restrictions.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either the Kaufman Cancer Center or the Amedisys Hospice Foundation, sent in care of R.T. Foard Funeral Home, Rising Sun, Maryland.
