She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene Sawyers, Sr.; and her siblings, Jewel Sloan and Thomas Hamilton. She is survived by: her children, Dan Sawyers of Rising Sun, MD, Patty Orem (John) of Rising Sun, MD and Gene Sawyers (Brenda) of Rising Sun, MD; and her sister Pauline Hamilton (Hassel). She is also survived by four grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
