He was predeceased by: his parents, John Leon Boncella and Genevieve Romanowski Boncella; his wife Marcia Brewster Boncella; and his brother Robert Boncella. He is survived by: his children, Carolyn "Becky" Boncella of Ridgely and Charles Boncella (Holli) of Ridgely; his brother John Boncella (Gerri) of Michigan; and his granddaughter Avery B. Boncella.
