He was predeceased by: his mother Grace Ross; and his son David W. Ross of Ridgely. He is survived by: his wife Linda Mae Rogers Ross of Ridgely; his children, Terri (Craig) of Ridgely and Rob (Debbie) of Ridgely; his siblings, Marie Jarrell of Ridgely and Tody Strannahan of Greensboro, MD.; and his grandsons, Nicholas Ross and Christian Ross of Ridgely, MD. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make contributions to Compass Regional Hospice, Centreville, Maryland.
