He was predeceased by: his parents, Mallory B. Winstead and Florence Knott Winstead; his sister Linda Winstead Hoffmaster; his son Michael Christopher Winstead Sr.; and his son-in-law Dan Lane.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Gibson Winstead of Queen Anne; his sister Rebecca Wade (John) of Denton; his daughter Mary Faye Lane of Cordova; his daughter-in-law Vicki J Winstead of Ridgely; his son Mallory Kevin Winstead (Debbie) of Queen Anne; his grandchildren, Mark A. Winstead (Tracy) of Cordova, Kristi, Jessica, Matthew, Mallory, Michael, Danny, Mitchell and Jacob; and his great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Shelby, Evelyn, Barrett, Christopher, Cole, Reese, Clayton, Mallory, Myckey, Marshall and Marcus.
