We are sad to announce that on October 5, 2023, at the age of 102, Irene May Ashen of Ridgely, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William James and Sarah Cindrey James. She is survived by: her children, Patricia A. Forslind, David Young (Carol) of Lewes, DE and James Ashen (Kathy) of Chester, MD.. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
