He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Louise Brown Long; his daughter Susan Marie; his wife Shirley; his brother Harry Brown Long (Marvis); his sister-in-law Margaret Howard Long; his cousin Janet Thornton Nieburg; and his nieces, Terri Long Fox (Richard) and Barbara Louise Doan (Daniel). He was also cherished by 2 grandnieces and other cousins.
