He was predeceased by: his parents, Lacy Frank Newman and Ella Frye Newman; and his wife Nancy Lee Bock. He is survived by: his sister Sharon Newman Puckett; and his children, Dayna Horne, T. Kaye Barnett, Shana Newman, Sherry Brehm, Nasherra Newman, Mason Newman, Tara Morris and Cierra Newman. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
