He was predeceased by: his grandson Aaron Waltemeyer; his siblings, Leonard Waltemeyer, Eddie Waltemeyer, Gloria Hall, Peggy Dunnigan, Patsy Wright, Vicki Diggins, Donald Waltemeyer, Joe Waltemeyer and Gary Waltemeyer; and his parents, Ellison Waltemeyer and Pearl Waltemeyer.

He is survived by: his children, Ronald Waltemeyer (Maria), Mark Waltemeyer (Barbara), Lisa Porter and Gregory Waltemeyer (Anne Schevker); his siblings, Robert Waltemeyer (Pat), Danny Waltemeyer (Beverly), David Waltemeyer, Jack Waltemeyer and Sharon Hamilton; his grandchildren, Rachel Waltemeyer Abraham (Timothy Abraham), Rebekah Waltemeyer McDonald (Garrett McDonald), Brian Burgess (Katrina), Alexis Waltemeyer, Gibson Porter IV, McKenna Porter, Caitlyn Waltemeyer, Temple Waltemeyer, Tripp Waltemeyer (Izabelle) and Chloe Waltemeyer; his great grandchildren, Isaac Burgess, Esther Waltemeyer Abraham, Levi Waltemeyer Abraham and Lennon Waltemeyer McDonald; and his former wife Loretta Waltemeyer. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
