We are sad to announce that on May 23, 2024, at the age of 92, Sam Smith Jr. of Reisterstown, Maryland, born in Rogersville, Tennessee passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sam Smith Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Venoy Smith, Sr. and Mary Pearl Smith; his son-in-law Jeffrey Officer; and his siblings, Delma, Alma, Thelma, Hazel, Frances, Bobbie, Roy and Alan.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Grindstaff Smith; his daughter Gina Marie Officer of Westminster, MD; his grandchildren, Rachel (Christopher), Cria, Michelle (Isaiah), Sarah and Michael; his great grandchildren, Chloe, Noah, Nathan, Jack and Lily; and his sister Bitsy of Florida. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
