He was predeceased by: his spouse Katherine E. Klinefelter; and his son Michael J. Klinefelter. He is survived by: his son Richard M. Klinefelter, Jr.; his wife Alice Ballard of Reisterstown; his grandchildren, Stacy Ward, Dawn Klinefelter and James Ballard; his great grandchildren, Brianna Ward and Haley Ward; his sister Mae Christen of Glen Rock, PA.; and also Ronald Ballard (Sue) of Harford County.
