She was predeceased by: her parents, Iretha Dempsey and Willie D. Dempsey; and her daughter Alexis D. Martin. She is survived by: her husband James E. Martin, Jr.; her children, Lisa M. Martin and James E. Martin, III (Marcuis Warren); and her grandsons, Samuel Adams and Isaiah Lammie.
