It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loyal J. Harant of Reisterstown, Maryland, who passed away on December 14, 2024, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph Harant and Florence Marie Harris; and his siblings, John Joseph and Catherine Ann. He is survived by: his children, Daniel Harant (Carol), Nancy Gurwitz (Alan), Carol Haug (Dave), Kim Battaglia (Frank) and Kelley Houtz (Bryon); his grandchildren, Christopher, Michelle, Diane, Staci, Ryan, Linda, Michael, David, Jordan and Brady; and his great grandchildren, Alexis, Abigail, Olivia, Trenton, Colby, Leo, Max, Nora and Dominic.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Eline Funeral Home (11824 Reisterstown Rd, Reisterstown, MD 21136). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (65 Sacred Heart Ln, Reisterstown, MD 21136). The military honors was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at the All Saints Cemetery.
