It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loyal J. Harant of Reisterstown, Maryland, who passed away on December 14, 2024, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph Harant and Florence Marie Harris; and his siblings, John Joseph and Catherine Ann. He is survived by: his children, Daniel Harant (Carol), Nancy Gurwitz (Alan), Carol Haug (Dave), Kim Battaglia (Frank) and Kelley Houtz (Bryon); his grandchildren, Christopher, Michelle, Diane, Staci, Ryan, Linda, Michael, David, Jordan and Brady; and his great grandchildren, Alexis, Abigail, Olivia, Trenton, Colby, Leo, Max, Nora and Dominic.
