He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Kenneth Recklein and Joan Lavern Dandy Recklein; and his sister Christine Matthews. He is survived by: his siblings, LuAnn Yaffe (Robert) and Keith Recklein (Penny). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered to the Reisterstown Volunteer Fire Department or to the Baltimore County Police Department.

“I will miss Kenny. We had a lot of fun together and enjoyed many laughs. In recent times I would periodically stop by his house and occasionally make a phone call to see how things were going. He loved those Ravens and Orioles and the Chesapeake Bay with it's seafood and fishing. He always liked playing Trivia too. Kenny was a circumspect and respectful person towards others and was always lively with a great sense of humor. My thoughts are with his brother and sister, and friends-Mark Dubbert”
