It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Hughes of Reisterstown, Maryland, born in Camden, New Jersey, who passed away on September 8, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hughes and Mary Carmel Harrington Hughes; his wife Cecelia Alicia Keating Hughes; his son James Hughes; his granddaughter Riley Hughes; and his siblings, James Hughes, Patricia Curtis, John Hughes, Catherine Hughes, Mary LaMarché, Terry Hughes and Bernadette McGonagle.
He is survived by: his children, Joe Hughes (Gwen), Cecelia Vito (Ronald Sr.), Mary Berryann and Shawn Hughes (Christine Ayers Hughes); his grandchildren, Ron Vito Jr., Anthony Vito, Katie Hughes, James Hughes, Shawn Hughes Jr., Erin Hughes, Lisa Busch, Mark Berryann, Jr. and Trevor Berryann; his great grandchildren, Theodora Hughes, Harry Hughes, Rodney Hughes, Riley B, James Berryann and Samantha Vito; and his brother Daniel Hughes. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
