With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Lee Hughes of Reisterstown, Maryland, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on February 19, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles H. Vitt and Eva A. Vitt; her husband Gene Hughes; and her daughter-in-law Wendy Hughes. She is survived by: her children, Gene Charles Hughes of Baltimore, MD and Sharon; her son-in-law David Ramsey of Myrtle Beach, SC; her daughter Leslie; her son-in-law Edward Grempler of Reisterstown, MD; and her grandchildren, Mandy Hughes, Jason Grempler and Brandon Smith. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
