He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Betty Jean Belt; his children, Caron Belt McCausland (Ross), James H. Belt, Jr. (Susan) and Robert T. Belt (Bobby); and his grandchildren, Jeffrey W. Hunter, Laura A. Hunter-Jones (Ashley), James H. Belt, III (Jennifer), Jennifer E. Lentz (Bryan), Emelyng B Ortiz (Alvaro), Albert, Sarah and Aileen McCausland.
