He was predeceased by: his parents, Rupert Earl and Marjorie Lee Fisher Hughes; and his siblings, Nancy Lynch (Robert) and David Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Anne Marie Hughes; his daughters, Mary Robins (Paul) of Durham, NC and Rebekah Hughes (Edward Williams) of Richmond, VA; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Eden Grace, Fiona and Isaac; his brother Robert Hughes (Julie Hughes); and his sister-in-law Georgia Hughes. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
