It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris Ester Klipstein of Rawlings, Maryland, who passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Appold and Ester Appold (Appold); and her brothers, Alan Judy and Wayne Jewell. She is survived by: her husband Joseph R. Klipstein; her children, Debbie Powell (Jim Portmas), John Appold (Millie), Don Ray Appold (Fran) and Nicole Appold; her stepson Michael Klipstein; her close friend Jamie Wilson; and her brother Donald Appold. She is also survived by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Scarpelli Funeral Home (15205 McMullen Hwy SW, Cresaptown, MD 21502). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
