Hevel and Loretta Cathell (Hartung); his wife Linda Hevel (Sebold); his children, Robert "Bob" Hevel (Tonya), Wendy VanMeter (Chuck) and Jessica Maffett (Kevin); his grandchildren, Sierra Hevel, Carson VanMeter and Chase VanMeter; his sister Marilyn Bischof; and his close friend Aaron Blocher. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
