She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Manis and Estelle Manis; her brothers, Robert Manis and Harold Manis, Jr.; and her friend Dr. Francine Essien.
She is survived by: her husband Earl Dixon; her sisters, Jeanette Manis, Lillian Manis, Juanita Moore, Patricia Manis-Ligon, Arlene Manis, Janyce Manis, Sheri Manis, Carolyn Manis and Lori "Jill" Manis; her sister-in-law Dr. Mary P. Watkins (Joseph); and her close friends, DeLois Hamilton, Demetria Rodgers, Ann Cothran, Shirley Releford and Elizabeth Limeberger. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and neighbors.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Oak Grove Baptist Church (127 Oak Grove Rd, Kenbridge, VA 23944).
