He was predeceased by: his sister Susan Pointon; and his parents, Carole Scheiner and Philip Scheiner. He is survived by: his wife Florence Scheiner; his children, Michael Scheiner (Suzanne), Jeff Scheiner (Janet Booth), Eric Scheiner (JoAnn) and Lauren Ellison (Lou); his grandchildren, Jonathan Scheiner, Benjamin Scheiner, Zachary Scheiner, Brett Scheiner (Mary), Sarah Scheiner, Mandy Stout (Harry "Rick"), Katie Costin (Brian), Ray Ellison and Skye Ellison; and his great grandchildren, Ethan Scheiner and Ava Costin.
