With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Schmitt of Randallstown, Maryland, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on September 14, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Martin A. "Smitty" Schmitt Born; her parents, Herbert Carter and Margaret Carter (Schwarzkoff); and her siblings, Rosemary Sappington and Thomas Carter.

She is survived by: her children, Carol Moore (Tom), Loretta Rothschild (Gary), Peggy McGregor (Mike), Marty Schmitt, II (Carolyn), Tim Schmitt (Melissa) and Tina Schmitt (Robert Borealo); her grandchildren, Chris (Tina), Tom (Emily), Tony, Dan, Kayla (Hec), Nicole (Andrew), Chandler, Kristi and Alex; and her friends, Shirley, Jesse Painter and Verta Brown. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
