She was predeceased by: her parents, Larry Gaston and Nellie Couslar; and her siblings, Helen Crutchfield, Carrie Johansson and Larry Gaston.
She is survived by: her husband Dr. Sonny Johansson; her caregivers, Trailblazer Award, Excellence and S. Congress; her sons, Dr. Patrik Johansson of Seattle, WA and Christian Johansson; her daughter-in-law Lacey Johansson; her son Nicholas Johansson; her daughter-in-law Dr. Crystal Watkins Johansson; her daughter Andrea Johansson; her nephew Larry Johansson of Phoenix, AZ; her grandchildren, Isaac, Noah, Carter, Morley, Asher, Arden and Atlas; her brother Douglas Gaston; her siblings-in-law, Shirley of San Francisco, CA and Olof Johansson of Sweden; and her nieces and nephews, Harlan, Alvis Crutchfield of Hickory, NC, Frans Johansson of Brooklyn, NY, Sandra Ljung of Sweden, Michael Gaston, Lisa Gaston of San Francisco, CA, Carl Gaston of Augusta, GA, Tammie Gaston-Griffin of Birmingham, AL, Warren Gaston, Darryl Gaston and Donna Jilek of Atlantic City, NJ..
