She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Andrews and Hattie Collier Andrews; her husband Harvey Smith; her daughters, Brenda L. Harris and Peggy L. Wilhelm; and her siblings, Catherine Graham, Edna Lewis and Allen Blizzard.
She is survived by: her grandsons, James "Jamie" A. Smith (Rachel) and Richard "Ricky" H. Smith; her great grandchildren, Marius, Roberto, Robert, Dillon, Amber, Jason, Cierra, Kenny and Frank; and her sister Dallas C. Carter.
