She was predeceased by: her sisters, Lillian Russ and Beulah Towers. She is survived by: her spouse Willard H. Sterling; her children, J. D. Buchanan (Penny), Glenn Sterling (Theresa) and Brenda Sterling; her stepdaughter Shirley; and her siblings, Thomas Mullikin and Clara Mount.
