He was predeceased by: his parents, James Oscar Williams and Louise Williams Butler; his wife Mary Emma Wilson Williams; his brother Phillip O. Williams Sr.; his daughter Lynette Wilson; his granddaughter Leneea Wilson; his great-nephew Keith Williams Jr.; and his cousin Michael Seney Sr..
He is survived by: his children, Bronte Williams (Bobby) of Washington, James Williams Jr., Shawn Potter, Cheryl McDade (Wallace) and Denise Palmer (Pastor Leonard Palmer); his grandchildren, Shaniqua Spence, Antwonte Williams, Brandon Williams Sr., Kimah Smith, Tamika Harris, Necola Francis, Yolanda Jones, Glen Lewis Jr. and Dantoine Bryan; his great grandchildren, Myra Williams, Antwone Williams, Ariyall Williams, Brandon Williams Jr., Lynazja Haskins, Madison Francis, Giovanni Jones and Mya Jackson; his brothers, Alfred Williams Sr. of Greensboro and Richard Williams Sr. (Jessie) of Philadelphia, PA; his sister-in-law Paralee Williams of Philadelphia; and his nieces and nephews, Alfred Williams Jr., Richard Williams Jr., Phillips Williams Jr., Keith Williams Sr., James Green, Vernon Green, Clark Green, Michael Roy, Alfreda Williams, Karen Roberts, Anita Green, Bermuda Brittingham and Kim Wilson Owens.
