He is survived by: his wife Nancy Lee Snyder Peterson; his daughters, Susan Riley and Nancy Ellen Peterson; his granddaughters, Samantha Peterson, Laura Minakowski and Beth Knerr; and his great grandchildren, Owen Knerr, Julia Knerr and Carsen Knerr.
