He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul J. Yoash and Margaret Pugh Yoash (Peggy); his brother Mark A. Yoash; his sister-in-law Lisa M. Yoash; and his pet Sunny.

He is survived by: his wife Myrle B. Yoash of Queen Anne; his siblings, Matthew D. Yoash of Centreville, MD, John W. Yoash (Nancy) of Apex, NC, Dr. Ruth E. Yoash-Gantz (Frank) of Davidson, NC, Margaret "Anne" Yoash of Baltimore, MD and Nancy Y. Patrick (Lynn) of Baltimore, MD; and his nieces and nephews, Benjamin, Natalie, Christie, Trevor, Hannah and Shannon.
