He was predeceased by : his parents, James H. Parrott and Shirley Parrott. He is survived by : his wife Colleen Parrott; his children, James "Jay" Parrott III and Page Kuntze (Eric Kuntze); and his grandson Hans Kuntze III. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the West Side Fire Department.
