He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald Alan Schaeffer, Sr. and Delores Jeanne Schaeffer; and his significant other Barbara Jeanne Schaeffer.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
