It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Anthony Stein Sr. (Princess Anne, Maryland), born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on February 15, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Stein and Ethel Stein; and his wife Joan Stein. He is survived by: his children, Richard A. Stein, Jr. (Susan) of Stewartstown, PA and Darlene Matthews (Frank) of Felton, PA. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

“I remember going to PA as a kid and picking bushels ,and bushels of peaches , apples . He was my first employer. He paid me by the bushel basket . Watching him steam crabs , helped him kill the chickens he raised , having my first taste of beer ( nati boe) . Listening to John Denver . So many memories of Mr Stein ,my neighbor , my friend. RIP.”
