She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert A. Silvia and Alice Gibbons Silvia; her husband Lester L. Murphy; her brother Preston Silvia; her aunt Anne Gibbons of Princess Anne; and her brother-in-law Darryl Murphy of Ohio.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Hoffman (Joy) of Salisbury and Bruce Hoffman (Lisa) of Salisbury; her half-brother Charles Pusey of Baltimore; her stepchildren, Christa Lindsey of Oklahoma and Frank Murphy of Indiana; her granddaughter Caroline Hoffman; her cousins, Charlie Silvia (Shirley), Jackie Eberts (Greg) and Charles B. Silvia, Jr. (Pam); and her sister-in-law Jan Silvia of Salisbury. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
