She is survived by: her mother Irona Elizabeth Dismuke; her husband Hank Ballard; her sons, Deondrea Purnell and Demetry Purnell (Rayshell); her siblings, Darrell Purnell, Lewis Collins, Rodney Harmon, Zandra Pusey (Norris), Shelly Thomas, Arlene Hawkins, Ronnette Rock (Bryan), Shanay Purnell and Betty Hall (Elder Kirkland); her uncle Willis Collick (Gertrude); and her aunt Sandra Bowen. She is also survived by five grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
