It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George E. Godfrey of Princess Anne, Maryland, born in Berlin, Maryland, who passed away on August 14, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Godfrey and Ruth Godfrey (Hastings); and his stepchildren, Wayne Webster, Larry Webster, Teena Webster and Jaye Price.

He is survived by: his wife May Layfield Webster Godfrey of Princess Anne; his daughter Marg Godfrey Tarleton (Edward); his stepchildren, Jim Webster (Colleen) of Princess Anne and Lori Price of Princess Anne; and his brother William E. Godfrey of Wilmington, DE. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
