He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Brooks and Rhoda Brooks (Bullock); and his wife Fay Elena Brooks (Van Riper). He is survived by: his children, Debbie Couture (Ken) of Salisbury, MD and Kurt Nelson Brooks of Bowie, MD; and his grandchildren, Brooks Couture, Stephan Brooks and Genevieve Brooks.
