It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ada Jean Bozman of Princess Anne, Maryland, born in Dames Quarter, Maryland, who passed away on June 17, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John R. and Fannie Shores (Nannie) of Dames Quarter; her children, Charles Bozman Jr. and Deborah Bozman; her siblings, Evelyn Long, Howard Bozman, Glendon Bozman, Norma Cugler, Elbert Bozman, Topsy Revell and Barbara Willing; and her cousin Edwin Ford.
She is survived by: her daughters, Beverly Powell (Roddy) and Vickie Laird (Brian); her daughter-in-law Sherry Bozman; her grandchildren, Rusty Bozman (Jenn), Tracy Lewis (Robert), Brian Laird Jr. (Rachel), Katie Eby (Jeff), Matthew Werth, Amy Prettyman (Chad), Stephen Werth (Brittney), Ashley Shanholtzer (Patrick) and Eric Laird (Kellie); her great grandchildren, Kristen Lewis, Alyssa Lewis, James Bozman, Victoria Travers, Olivia Bozman, Cadyn Travers, Grant Prettyman, Bailey Prettyman, Lukas Laird, Jensen Laird, Landon Shanholtzer, Martie Laird, Maren Laird, Hudson Shanholtzer and Aubrie Laird; her sister-in-law Ann Bozman; her caregiver Diane Hall; and also, Janet Cross, Barbara Dryden, Tori and Cadyn Travers.
She was active with her senior group, where prior to COVID they would meet every Tuesday to sing to the patients of Manokin Manor Nursing Home, followed by lunch afterwards.
