He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurman Sr. Smith and Alberta Smith (Chester); his wife Dorothy Bailey Smith; his sisters, Myrtle Nelson and Virginia Brisco; and his stepson Reginald Stevens.
He is survived by: his daughters, Valerie Young Robinson of Fort Pierce, FL, Tina Smith Jones of Greensboro, MD and Jessica Smith of Trappe; his stepdaughter April Stevens of Abingdon, MD; his grandchildren, Joy, India Edusei of Virginia Beach, VA, Jesston Smith of Preston, Shardae Monroe of Tampa, FL, Nathaniel Robinson, Jr. of Tampa, FL and Sergeant Lisa Robinson; his great grandchildren, Gideon and Harper of Cambridge; his sisters, Marylee Thompson (Tommy) of Houston, DE, Ollie "Belle" Bantum (Percy) of Cambridge and Margaret Jones of Cambridge; and his close friend Doris of Easton. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
