It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Leah Bennett of Preston, Maryland, who passed away on September 17, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Milton Brown and Leona Paul Brown; her husband William F. Bennett, Jr.; her son Kevin Bennett; and her brothers, Jay Brown and Bill Brown.

She is survived by: her children, Brenda McCann (Ron), Frankie Bennett (Pam), Deborah Bennett of Federalsburg, Tracy Lowe (Gary) of Greenwood and Keith Bennett (Amber) of Lewes; and her caregivers, Shelly and Avias. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
