He is survived by: his daughters, Catherine Griffiths of Mechanic Falls and Jo Anne Cottrell (James) of Elkridge, Maryland; his grandchildren, William, Richard Griffiths, Sara Cottrell and Erin Kelly; and his sister Mary Butt Ownley (Joseph Butt) of Hertford. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Zeller Funeral Home (106 Main St, Preston, MD 21631).
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that contributions may be made to the Lions Club Scholarship Fund with the Hurlock Lions Club, P.O. Box 456, Hurlock, MD 21643.
