She was predeceased by: her parents, Sue Tolley and Reecie Calvin Lewis. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Ruark; her daughter Charlotte "Diane" Fluharty (Bob) of Preston; her stepdaughter Carol Jones of Salisbury; her grandchildren, Kim Wheatley, Jeffrey Fluharty (Holly), Scott and Ryan Jones; her great grandchildren, Brandon and Taylor Wheatley; and her great great grandchild River Wheatley.
