She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin McClellan and Ada Beattie McClellan; her husband James Spoerl; her grandson Brian Gwilliam; and her sisters, Ada McClellan, Dorothy Chapman and Bertha Greenway.
She is survived by: her son Ronald Spoerl (Sharon) of Rising Sun, Maryland; her grandchildren, Michael Schuhart, Kelly Ann Spoerl, Vanessa Gwilliam and Dawn Gwilliam; and her great grandchildren, Bridget Vitilio, Tony Vitilio, David Jones, Daisy Griffen and Brian Sauer.
