It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Martha Lane of Preston, Maryland, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 20, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Earle and Elizabeth LeCompte Stevens; her husband Ralph Lane; her sisters, Bette S. Edgell and Dorothy Quarthammer; and her great grandchild Heidi Howell.
She is survived by: her daughter B. Joan Mowbray (William) of Preston, MD; her granddaughters, Beth Prouse (Andrew) of Salisbury and Jennifer Walter (Thomas) of Annapolis; her great grandchildren, Danielle Cannon, Adam, Hannah Prouse, Andrew and Riley Walter; and her great great grandchildren, Colt and Clint Cannon.
