We are sad to announce that on August 17, 2024, at the age of 86, Mitchell Ellington of Potomac, Maryland, born in Birmingham, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Alice Richards Ellington; his children, Nancy (Brian), Ginger (Dan) and Mitchell, Jr. (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Cassandra, Ruby, Taylor, Evan, Jackson, Ryan and Victoria; and his brother Howard (Cathy).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in R. Mitchell Ellington's name to support leukemia research at the Hershey Cancer Clinic. Please specify (AML) Leukemia Research when donating.
